What a MISA Licence Actually Covers
The investment licence is the first document in a Saudi setup, and the one most often misread. Here is what it does and does not permit.
A MISA investment licence establishes your right to invest in a given economic activity. It is not, by itself, permission to trade — the Commercial Registration that follows is what does that.
Because the licence is tied to an activity, choosing the activity badly is the single most expensive mistake at this stage: changing it later means amending the licence, the CR and every downstream government registration.
